Do you have concerns regarding your daughter's perception of her own body image? Do you feel that social media is negatively impacting your child's relationship with their own self-concept and/or self-esteem? The world we live in today exposes our young girls to unrealistic expectations of beauty, which can have negative impacts on their eating habits, self-esteem, interpretation of their own body image, and most importantly, self-esteem. In this 10-week learning series, we will engage in targeted sessions to discuss positive body affirmations, the benefits of becoming mentally strong, the impact of social media on our perception of reality, healthy eating habits, the benefits of daily movement, and so much more. Each participant will receive a small package which will contain all of the required materials and supplies needed to participate in each session.
